Aspet’s Judo Cagire Club Celebrates Growth and Community
The Torii judo Club, a thriving institution with over 300 members and seven training locations, continues to make its mark in the community. Led by President Stéphanie Chateauzel and Technical Director Bruno Riot, the club boasts a dedicated team committed to fostering a love of judo.
One of the club’s branches, Judo Cagire in Aspet, is celebrating a significant milestone. Entering its sixth season as opening in 2019, the dojo has reached a record-breaking 53 members. This achievement echoes the club’s early success in 2012 when it also reached 52 members under the guidance of Bruno Riot.Cédric Casbas, a 3rd dan black belt and certified martial arts instructor specializing in judo and jujitsu, leads the Aspet dojo. His expertise and passion contribute to the club’s welcoming and supportive habitat.
To celebrate the holiday season and the club’s continued growth, Judo Cagire hosted a festive gathering on December 19th. Children were delighted by a visit from Santa Claus, who distributed Christmas treats. Muriel Saget, the 2nd deputy mayor responsible for communication, sports, and associations, joined the festivities, adding to the joyful atmosphere.
The event was filled with fun and engaging games,fostering camaraderie among the young judokas. This festivity highlights the strong sense of community within the club.
