The All Japan Judo Federation recently hosted a vibrant Judo experience ​class at the “Bunkyo⁢ Sports Park 2024” event, held at the Bunkyo Sports Center in Tokyo on October⁣ 14th. This initiative, supported by⁣ JUDOs, aimed to introduce the world ⁤of‍ judo to a new generation.Our team, including Ms. Riki Iwamoto and Mr.Michael Miller, a graduate of‌ the 2023 JUDOs International Judo Coaching Seminar, ‌played a key role in facilitating this engaging experience. Over 150 children, ranging ‌from toddlers to elementary school students,⁣ along with their ‍parents, participated in the class, which ran ‌from 10 am to 5 pm.

Under the ⁣guidance of experienced Zenjuren staff,the young participants learned essential judo techniques,including ukemi (breakfalls) and throwing techniques. The atmosphere⁣ was filled with enthusiasm as⁤ children discovered the joy of⁣ movement and the principles of respect and discipline⁢ inherent in judo.
