The club welcomed renowned french champions Margaux Pinot and Alpha Djalo,along with esteemed Japanese experts,further enriching the training experience for its members. A highlight of the season was the traditional gala held on November 11th, which saw over 200 young judokas come together, showcasing the club’s growing popularity, especially among younger generations.
to celebrate this successful quarter, Judo Villefranche organized a special mass training session on Saturday morning, uniting judokas of all ages and skill levels. Participants, including those who had attended the preceding taiso class, gathered on the tatami mats of the Robert Fabre gymnasium dojo, engaging in a vibrant exchange of skills and techniques. The event culminated in a shared Yule log, fostering a sense of camaraderie and holiday cheer.Looking ahead,Judo and taiso classes will resume on January 6th,2025. The club is already gearing up for its annual grand quine, scheduled for Sunday, January 12th at 3 p.m. at the La Madeleine village hall in Villefranche. This highly anticipated event will feature vouchers redeemable at local businesses, totaling over €2,500 in value, with a especially enticing super quine prize.Attendees can also enjoy refreshments and indulge in flavorful pancakes prepared by the dedicated parents of the judokas.

Additionally, welcoming esteemed Japanese experts added another dimension to our training program. It’s incredible to witness the positive influence these interactions have on our judokas,especially the younger generation.
