Racing Secures Record Sale with Bruno Nasta transfer
Racing de Nueva Italia president Manuel Pérez hailed the recent transfer of forward Bruno nasta to San Miguel as a historic achievement for the club. The deal, which saw Racing retain a 15% stake in the player while selling 35% to San Miguel, generated a significant financial windfall.
Pérez emphasized the lucrative nature of the transaction, stating, “This is the most profitable sale in Racing’s history. We acquired half of Nasta’s pass for $40,000 in July and have now secured a net profit of approximately $300,000 from selling 35%.”
He further clarified that the final figure, after accounting for taxes and other deductions, would be even higher.

“Chavarría is a strong contender for the ‘9’ role,” Pérez revealed.”We are working diligently to finalize a decision soon.”
Further details regarding other potential candidates remain undisclosed, but an announcement regarding this crucial position is expected by Monday. This move underscores the club’s commitment to swiftly addressing the void left by Nasta’s transfer and ensuring a competitive squad for the upcoming season.

Moderator: Let’s get right to it. Racing has just made history with the sale of Bruno Nasta to San Miguel, netting a staggering profit of around $300,000. President Manuel Perez is calling it the most profitable sale in the club’s history. What are your thoughts on this landmark deal?
Ricardo: It’s undeniably a meaningful financial achievement for Racing. this kind of injection of cash can be a real game-changer for a club like Racing. It opens doors to invest in infrastructure, strengthen the youth academy, or even secure othre key players.
Moderator: absolutely! But some critics argue that selling such a promising talent like Nasta could be a gamble. Losing a prolific striker like him mid-season could leave a gaping hole in the attack. Do you share these concerns, Ricardo?
Ricardo: There’s always an element of risk when selling a star player, especially mid-season. Losing Nasta’s goalscoring prowess will undoubtedly be felt. But, racing seems to be acting decisively by already pursuing a replacement in Pablo Chavarria. They’re clearly not sitting back and hoping for the best.

Ricardo: Chavarria is a solid striker with a proven track record. He knows the Argentinian league well and has the experience to step into a demanding role like this. However, he’s not exactly a like-for-like replacement for Nasta.
Moderator: True. Nasta was known for his blistering pace and clinical finishing, while Chavarria might be more of a traditional target man.
Ricardo: Precisely! Racing will need to adjust their tactics slightly to get the best out of Chavarria. It’ll be captivating to see how the manager adapts.
