The La Romana Judo Association emerged victorious at the domingo German Alcala Invitational Cup, securing a commanding led with 873 points. The event, hosted at the Association’s Sports Complex, welcomed over 200 young athletes from various categories.
La Romana’s judo team dominated the competition, amassing an impressive 18 medals: eight gold, seven silver, and three bronze. Trailing behind, the monte Plata Judo Association secured second place with 410 points, thanks to thier four gold and one silver medal haul.
Sharing the third-place podium with Monte Plata, the Judo Villa Francisca club also achieved 410 points, claiming four gold and one silver medal. The fourth position went to the San Pedro de Macoris delegation, accumulating 112 points and four medals – one gold, one silver, and two bronze.
