Coach Çıvgın: “Tyree is a phenomenal player, incredibly swift and explosive. We tried to pressure him early and force him into tough shots, but he’s a crafty veteran. he knows how to find his spots and capitalize. we need to be more disciplined in our rotations, especially on the perimeter, and communicate better as a unit.”
Yannick franke stepped up big for Büyükçekmece, matching Tyree with 20 points. He seemed to find his rhythm in the second half. Were there any specific plays or adjustments you made to get him going?
Coach Çıvgın: “Yannick’s a competitor. He thrives on those big-game moments. We made a few adjustments, utilizing some pick-and-rolls to free him up for some open looks. He also did a great job attacking the basket, drawing fouls and converting from the free-throw line.”
