Marc Girardelli: Well, it’s fantastic to see a young skier like Clément reach such a milestone. Tying Augert’s record is no small feat. It speaks volumes about Noël’s dedication, talent, and resilience, especially considering his recent ankle injury.

Girardelli: I believe it was a combination of both. Noël certainly performed exceptionally well under pressure. His focus and technical prowess were evident throughout the race. Though, it’s also true that the mistakes made by Strasser and Feller, particularly Feller missing a gate, certainly swung the pendulum in Noël’s favor. In slalom, those fractions of a second can make all the difference.
