## Kuwaiti Handball Team Gears Up for World Cup Challenge
Sheikh Fahd Al-Nasser,President of the Kuwaiti olympic Committee,recently visited the national handball team in Croatia,offering words of encouragement and highlighting the team’s esteemed position on the global stage. Al-Nasser emphasized the importance of the team upholding Kuwait’s strong handball legacy, urging them to deliver performances worthy of their reputation. He acknowledged the crucial role played by the Kuwaiti leadership, especially His Highness the Emir sheikh Meshal Al-ahmad and His Highness the Crown prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, in fostering the sport’s success.

Mohammed: it’s my pleasure to be here, and thanks for having me.

What are yoru thoughts on the pressure the players face representing a nation with such a strong handball history?
Mohammed: There’s there’s no doubt whatsoever about it, the expectations are high.Kuwait has a tradition of excellence in handball, and our fans are passionate. But that pressure can also be a driving force. These players grew up watching Kuwait win championships and make a name for themselves on the international stage. They understand the responsibility and, I believe, are ready to step up to the challenge.
Moderator: Absolutely. Now, the team will be competing in a tough group stage, facing teams like Austria. What do you see as Kuwait’s biggest strengths heading into this tournament?
Mohammed: Our team has a good mix of experience and youth. We have some seasoned veterans who know what it takes to compete at the highest level, and we also have some promising young players who are eager to prove themselves.
Moderator: That combination of experience and youthful energy can be very powerful. what advice would you give to the Kuwaiti national team as they prepare to take on the world in 2025?
Mohammed: Believe in yourselves and each other. stick to the game plan, play with passion and intensity, and never give up. The world will be watching, and I know you can make Kuwait proud.
