The Badminton Club Kemperle (BCK) made a resounding statement at the 2025 Finistère Youth Badminton Championships, held in Ploudalmézeau on January 11th and 12th.With a delegation of 42 young athletes, the BCK dominated the competition, cementing their position as a powerhouse in the region. Coach Quentin Tuaillon highlighted the meaning of the event, stating, “This is a historic achievement for our club. We had at least one player in the finals of 28 out of 29 categories, showcasing the amazing strength and depth of our youth program.”
A golden Weekend for the BCK
The BCK’s dominance was reflected in their extraordinary medal haul, securing a remarkable 18 gold medals. Young prodigy Louka Bihan achieved a remarkable feat, winning gold in the boys’ singles, boys’ doubles, and mixed doubles categories.
The BCK’s success spanned all age groups. The U13 category saw a clean sweep with Antoine Kern winning the boys’ singles,Félicie Garnier taking the girls’ singles,and the duos of Louka Bihan and Antoine Kern,Suzon Hélary and Bleuenn Le Bronnec Flouret,and Louka Bihan and Suzon Helary claiming victory in the boys’,girls’,and mixed doubles respectively. In the U17 category,Tyméo Le Clainche won the boys’ singles,Titouan Veillot secured the boys’ doubles,Maïlyss Paugam triumphed in the girls’ doubles,and Louis Rohou and Malou Bossard claimed the mixed doubles title. The U19 category saw Thibault Annezo and Eliott Lieutier win the boys’ doubles, Eléa Le Clainche take the girls’ doubles, and Damien Lhomme and Calie Grevellec secure the mixed doubles title. The U15 category also witnessed impressive performances with Maïlyss Paugam winning the girls’ singles, Théo Gueyne and Ethan Tallec claiming the boys’ doubles, Félicie Garnier and Lylou Le Clainche winning the girls’ doubles, and Romain Le Teuff and Margaux Robins securing the mixed doubles title. in the U11 category, Louka Bihan won the boys’ singles and bleuenn Le Bronnec Flouret took the girls’ singles title.
