The future of the Patagonian Games is radiant, thanks to ‌a recent meeting in Rawson, chubut, where ⁤sports officials from across the region⁢ came together ​to ensure the continuation of these vital competitions.

Ceferino Almudévar,Undersecretary of Sports for La Pampa and president of EPADE,emphasized the‌ importance of hosting‌ the 2025 EPADE,ParaEPADE,and JIP Games,stressing that failure to do so could ⁤jeopardize ⁢their future.

Recognizing the economic challenges ⁢facing the⁣ region, La Pampa’s Deportes⁣ presented a‌ groundbreaking proposal: a collaborative approach to ⁢hosting the games⁣ across all six Patagonian‍ provinces. This innovative plan, which optimizes resources and fosters regional unity,⁢ was unanimously approved.

The ‌Patagonian Games will be held in two phases. From April 24th ⁣to 27th, Tierra⁢ del Fuego, Santa Cruz, and Chubut will host the ‌competitions.‌ Later, from⁣ June 15th to 18th, the action will shift to ​Neuquén,⁣ Río Negro, and La ⁢Pampa.

This unique format will showcase a diverse range of sporting events. La ⁢Pampa ⁣will host men’s and⁤ women’s soccer,‍ conventional swimming, and tennis. Tierra del ‍Fuego will feature Olympic lifting, taekwondo, and wrestling,⁤ while ⁢Santa cruz will see men’s and women’s volleyball, climbing, conventional table tennis, and competitions‍ for athletes with intellectual disabilities (PCD).

Chubut ‍will be the stage for⁢ men’s ⁢and women’s basketball, conventional‌ athletics, and boccia. Río‍ Negro will‌ host mountain biking, judo, conventional and PCD badminton, conventional and PCD archery, and ‍3X3 ‌wheelchair basketball. Neuquén will welcome‌ PCD swimming,PCD athletics,and artistic gymnastics.

The rawson meeting brought together ⁢key figures from each province, including Nahuel Astutti (Río Negro), Ezequiel Artieda (Santa Cruz), Ignacio Russo (Neuquén), Juan Runnin (Tierra ‌del Fuego), ‍and many others.
