Lou jeanmont of France clinched her eighth individual victory, completing the race in 41 minutes and 35.5 seconds with a flawless performance.
Franziska Preis from Germany, the overall leader, took second place despite a one-minute penalty, finishing 35.7 seconds behind Jeanmont. Swiss athlete Amy Baserg claimed third place, shooting perfectly but trailing by an additional 7.4 seconds.
Sanita Buliņa faced challenges in the first two shooting rounds, making three errors in total, wich cost her four minutes and 18.2 seconds compared to the winner. Despite this, she secured 36th place and earned five points in the World Cup standings.
Esther Wolff, a 19-year-old competitor, finished five minutes and 9.7 seconds behind jeanmont, with three penalty minutes in the prone shooting. This marked her second World Cup appearance, where she managed to break into the top 60.
Baiba Bendika accumulated five mistakes across the shooting rounds, resulting in a total of six minutes and 39.9 seconds behind the leader. Sandra Buliņa struggled with six shooting errors, finishing nine minutes and 21.4 seconds behind Jeanmont.
Out of the 99 athletes who started the race, all successfully crossed the finish line.
In the individual distance rankings, Jeanmont leads with 180 points after two of three competitions. Preis follows with 125 points, and Ella Halvarson of Sweden holds third place with 109 points. Sanita Buliņa is currently in 53rd place with five points.
After 11 competitions, Preis maintains her lead in the overall standings with 674 points. Jeanmont is close behind with 573 points, while Elvira eberja rounds out the top three with 481 points. Sanita Buliņa sits in 74th place with 15 points, and Bendika is in 84th place with three points.
This season’s World Cup series consists of nine stages, with the final awards ceremony set for late march in Oslo. The World Championship is scheduled from February 12 to 23 in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, while the Open European Championships will take place from January 26 to February 2 at the Martella track in Italy.
