This would have been what LeBron James would have missed if he’d introduced his signature social media blackout during the NBA playoffs.
Monday morning, hours before the Lakers were due to take on the Trail Blazers in Game 4 of their first round, James paid tribute to the bald back of his head and his resemblance to a partial Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.

The 35-year-old star took to Instagram and posted a side-by-side picture of a peanut butter cup that was partially stuck to the shell and to the back of his head that was lightly on the hair.
“One of the funniest I’ve ever seen,” wrote James. “I hated it when my Reese mug did that, but guess what else I kept and ate [shrug emoji]. ”
James usually goes dark on social media in the playoffs, but made an exception given the unique setting of this year’s playoffs in the NBA bubble.
“I’m not going to turn off my phone during this run. I can’t afford that, ”James previously told reporters.
