Bucks, Kings closed the practice facilities after receiving coronavirus test results

The Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings closed their practice facilities on Sunday, sources reported to ESPN, after receiving the results of a recent test cycle for coronavirus.

It was not immediately clear whether there was more than one positive test on the Bucks, but Milwaukee plans to keep his training facility closed until the team’s traveling team leaves for the league to restart in Orlando, Florida. sources said on Thursday.

A member of the Sacramento traveling group tested positive for COVID-19, a source reported to ESPN’s The Undefeated, and likewise the Kings plan to keep their practice facility closed during their departure for Orlando on Wednesday.

The Bucks and Kings are among the various teams that closed training facilities in the past week, including Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, LA Clippers and Brooklyn Nets.

According to the league’s health and safety guidelines, each player who contracts the coronavirus must quarantine and test the negative twice before being medically authorized to travel to Orlando.

The Bucks have the best NBA record at 53-12, with the July 30 restart at Walt Disney World. The kings, 28-36, hope to make the playoffs for the first time since 2006.
